Alicia Hoekstra
Alicia Hoekstra is a Vice President at Solution Beacon, LLC. Prior to joining Solution Beacon, she has a career in information technology spanning over 20 years, including more than 15 years working with, implementing, upgrading, and supporting the Oracle Applications in commercial and public sectors. Alicia served on the international OAUG (Oracle Applications User Group) Board of Directors for three years as well as actively participating in the establishment and leadership of local and regional user groups and sitting on the International Oracle Users Council (IOUC) representing OAUG. She frequently speaks and writes on a number of Oracle Applications implementation and upgrade topics at local, regional, and international user group meetings and conferences in addition to working directly with clients to scope, manage, and successfully execute their Oracle Applications initiatives.
A graduate of Texas A&M's graduate school of business, she held management and senior staff positions at BearingPoint, KMPG Consulting, Computer Systems Authority, SpectraVision, Dal-Tile, and Ernst & Young before joining Solution Beacon LLC.
A long time participant in selected local and regional philanthropic activities in the Dallas such as the annual Adolphus Christmas Parade benefiting the Children's Hospital of Dallas, Alicia is proud to be an active participant in making Solution Beacon Foundation successful in its mission.
Mary Lou Weiss
Mary Lou Weiss is a Vice President of Operations at Solution Beacon, LLC. She has over 10 years experience database administration and development of Oracle Applications. Mary Lou participates in the Oracle Application Users Group conferences and is on the OAUG Technology and OAUG eLearning Committees. She volunteers as a webmaster for multiple OAUG GEO and SIG users groups and administers list servers for them.
Mary Lou held positions with Shell Oil Corporation and Computer Systems Authority before becoming the owner of Solution Beacon.
